Warner Bros. studio may make a new superhero movie starring a black actor. It is reported by the Deadline.
The plot of the future project, as well as the cast, are not yet known. But insiders say that the main character from the previous films of the franchise – actor Henry Cavill – will not be back to the image of the superhero.
What’s more, the central character may become black, suggesting a possible choice of an Earth-23 Superman story as the basis for the film. The mystery sci-fi novel will be written by Ta-Nehisi Coates (“Between the World and Me”) and produced by J.J. Abrams.
