Twitter deleted Trump’s publication about the COVID-19 drug

The head of the White House, Donald Trump, has posted on Twitter a message that there is a cure for coronavirus infection. However, the publication was removed by the administration of the social network.

Trump also called on Americans to “wake up” in his message. The service immediately got rid of the American leader’s tweet, explaining its decision by the fact that the U.S. president had violated the rules of the social network by posting misinformation about COVID-19.

At the same time, Twitter has set limits on the account of the president’s son. This happened right after Trump Jr. shared a video showing a medical discussion about the use of hydroxychloroquine in treating coronavirus infection.
