Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have officially become Greek citizens

Famous American actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson have become honorary citizens of Greece, reported with reference to Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis TV channel NBC.

“Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks are now proud Greek citizens,” the Prime Minister signed a photo in Instagram, where he and his wife Mareva Grabowski are standing with Hanks and Wilson, holding Greek passports.

Hanks joined the Orthodox Church in 1988 after marrying Wilson, who is of Greek descent. The couple owns a property on Antiparos Island and has made several films about Greek communities.
