There has been an explosion near a coronavirus testing center located in the Dutch city of Bovenkarspel. According to Dutch News, the incident occurred around 7 a.m. local time, so no one was hurt. Only the windows in the building were shattered.
According to preliminary reports, an improvised explosive device went off. Police have sealed off the area and bomb squad officers are checking to see if there are any other bombs left.
Policemen speculate that the target was the testing center. They have been attacked many times before in the Netherlands. Opponents of anti-coronavirus restrictions have set them on fire in various cities and broken glass in buildings.
