Russia completed the contract with China for the supply of S-400 ‘Triumph’ air defense systems, including anti-aircraft missiles, according to an official representative of the Russian Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) Maria Vorobyeva.
“The Russian side has fulfilled in full its contractual obligations to ship to the Chinese side property from the antiaircraft missile system S-400,” she told the agency on Sunday at the ‘Army 2020’ forum.
Dmitry Shugaev, director of Russia’s FSMTS, said in March this year that Russia had delivered S-400 under the contract to China, and that it remained to deliver the missiles.
China became the first foreign buyer of S-400 ‘Triumph’ air defense systems (Almaz-Antey). The contract was signed in 2014.
