One hundred whales and dolphins were landed in New Zealand

About a hundred whales and dolphins were thrown ashore and died in New Zealand, November 25, the agency Reuters reported.

According to the Department of Nature Conservation of New Zealand, 97 green and three dolphins were thrown ashore on the remote islands of Chatham November 22.

“Only 26 whales were still alive at that time. Most of them looked very weak,” said department inspector Gemma Welch.
