Microsoft has been sued for problems with the Xbox One controller. This was reported by Screen Rant portal on October 13.
The publication writes that the problem is similar to that faced by the owners of portable console Nintendo Switch, ie it is associated with the work of the joysticks. According to the lawsuit filed by a U.S. resident Donald McFadden, Microsoft is aware of the problem, but is not in a hurry to fix it.
The plaintiff reported that he faced this problem when he bought an expensive Xbox Elite controller. After that he decided to buy an even more expensive Xbox Elite 2, but after three or four months the problem appeared again. McFadden claims that despite numerous complaints, Microsoft has not corrected the defect and “regularly refuses to repair controllers free of charge”.
Recall that earlier several similar class action lawsuits were filed against Nintendo. In June 2020, Syuntaro Furukawa, head of the company, apologized to the owners of Switch and stated that the manufacturer is trying to improve the quality of its products.
