South Korean company LG will show bendable monitor Bendable CSO at the Consumer Electronics Show CES 2021. It was announced by Engadget.
Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is held annually in January in Las Vegas. Due to the difficult epidemiological situation in 2021, the show will be held as an online event from January 11 to 14.
One of the South Korean company’s new products will be a 48-inch monitor with a display on organic light-emitting diodes (OLED). The main feature of the new monitor from LG will be bendable screen.
It is assumed that in flat screen mode monitor will be used to watch movies and other video content. At the same time the monitor will be able to curve with a radius of curvature of up to 1000 mm, which will improve the immersion effect when using the monitor for video games.
In recent years, electronic devices with different types of flexible displays have been appearing on the market. In particular, in 2019, Samsung and Huawei introduced smartphones with foldable screens. And in January 2020, Intel and Lenovo unveiled prototypes of flexible laptops.
