Don McDiarmid, the leading designer of British company TT Games, revealed some details about LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, which will be released later this year.
The game is being developed from scratch on a brand new engine. The Skywalker Saga will feature an open exploration world and space battles that are randomly generated. Gamers can expect about 800 characters, 23 planets and moons, as well as 28 unique locations that can be freely navigated.
The Skywalker Saga covers the plot of all nine movies in the Star Wars universe. As McDiarmid notes, users will be able to go through them in any order. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is set to premiere in 2021. The game will be released immediately on all major consoles and PC. The release was originally scheduled for 2020, but it was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
