38-year-old Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William met in Buckingham Palace with the President of Ukraine Volodymir Zelensky this week. For the meeting, she wore a necklace in which they recognized Princess Diana’s jewelry worth up to £25000.

The necklace consisted of blue sapphires matching her blue dress. The sapphire earrings were already seen on the duchess. Once they belonged to Diana and were further gifted by Prince William to his wife. “Perhaps this is a necklace from Princess Diana’s collection, as it is very similar to some of her sapphire jewelry,” Express admirers say. “It seems that she or William may have used most of the earrings to make this necklace,” others suggested.

The sapphires in the new Middleton necklace definitely resemble the stones that Diana wore – in terms of their shape, tone and saturation. “With a central sapphire weighing approximately 3.00 to 5.00 carats and an original halo weighing another 6.00 carats, I could easily appreciate this piece ranging in size from £20,000 to £25,000, perhaps even more,” the expert said.

The set, given to Diana on her wedding day with Prince Charles, included a watch, bracelet, earrings, necklace and ring. Middleton probably inherited the entire set, as Princess Diana’s jewelry was left to her sons.

Middleton does something that no one in the royal family does not allow themselves. Experts on the royal family shared their observations on her behavior.
