U.S. police are investigating after an explosion Saturday night at a Baptist church in suburban Los Angeles, California, NBC television reported.
An improvised explosive device detonated at the Baptist church. It was followed by a fire. Emergency services arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire. Bomb squad officers inspected the building for explosives.
During the investigation law enforcers found insulting writing on the walls. There were no injuries or fatalities as a result of the explosion. As noted, U.S. FBI officers were involved in the investigation.
