The body of former model and beauty queen Rebecca Landrith was found in Pennsylvania. About this writes E! News.
According to the publication, an employee of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation found the body of a woman near the highway. The model had been killed by several shots to the head, neck and body. The victim was identified by the fingerprints she left on the receipts found on her.
Law enforcement authorities detained the 28-year-old truck driver, who is suspected of committing the crime, on Feb. 10. He was charged with the murder of Rebecca Landrith. A note with the defendant’s name, phone number and email address was found in the woman’s jacket. Traces of blood and shell casings were also found in his truck.
The man claims he did not know Rebecca, but he said a woman named Leslie, whom he met at a truck stop in Connecticut, was traveling with him. According to the testimony, Landrith booked a hotel room in December 2020 under the name Leslie Myers.
Virginia native Rebecca Landrith was a 2014 Miss Manhattan finalist and former Miss Lady Liberty. She described herself as an “accomplished violinist” and “someone with a good heart.
