Bashar al-Assad got sick during his speech in the Syrian Parliament

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was forced to interrupt his speech in parliament on Wednesday because of his indisposition, Associated Press reports.

The office of the head of state explained that the pause lasted “several minutes”. The reason, according to her information, was a slight decrease in blood pressure.

After a short pause, Assad was able to continue his speech.

The media note that Assad has no data on any serious health problems.
