Users will have to charge their device using MagSafe wireless charging.
American company Apple may abandon the slot for charging the device in a line of smartphones iPhone 13, which will be released in autumn 2021. This conclusion was reached by an authoritative insider John Prosser on his Twitter page.
According to the expert, the new ruler will have at least one smartphone without a socket for charging. Users will have to charge the device using MagSafe wireless charging. The modern lineup of iPhones already has smartphones with wireless charging function, but they also have a connector for a standard wire.
The expert also believes that Apple will not give up the Lightning connector – USB-C remains in iPad and Mac computers. Prosser is confident that the company will not abandon its standard connector until the smartphones are fully wirelessly charged.
